Luna was an abandoned kitty that we rescued. one day, from inside my house, I heard her all the way across the street yowling. I found her stuck under a bush :( I brought her in and quarantined her in a bathroom. She was SO SO happy to have some food and water, she was like a bottomless pit! She fell in love with us instantly... and so did I with her. I've never meet a cat in all my life that just puts her heart out there so quickly. We brought her to Denver Dumb Friends League as a lost pet. But, she wasn't microchipped and no one claimed her. I missed her so much while she was there, I knew in my heart she belonged to us, so I went back after a few days and formally adopted her. She was about 4 months old. Luna still loves me like I am her mom - she follows me around and is my little helper. She is not the brightest kitty, but she has a big heart and is a party queen! Luna has had her share of health issues though... she had a bladder stone develop in December 2008, and she has a chronic breathing issue that we just can not figure out how to fix.
