Here are things I've planted: Honeysuckle vines, white dragonflowers, mixed
columbines, mixed floxgloves, pink and white bleeding hearts, mint (in
the container), crocus, tulips, iris, freesia, chionodoxa, Black Knight
Butterfly bush, Flowering Almonds, Patricia geranium, blue scabiosa,
carmel heuchera, daylilies, carpet phlox, golden sedum, pink
balloonflowers, rainbow butterfly bushes, blue sea holly, Indian
lilies, dutch chocolate bells, crown imperials, rose of sharons (blue
and red), yellow trumpet vines, clematis, purple lilac. Only annuals are snapdragons- I plant bareroot perennials.
wildlife: fox seen from our backyard, woodpeckers, and claude the Frog.
Food - I plant tomatoes, green peppers, jalapenos, strawberries, chives, and spinach. We're considered zone 4                            
The remodel... This
is what we started with (Aug 2005). YIKES! Our house sat empty for about 8 mos
before we bought it, so almost everything was dead. The trees had never
been trimmed. I believe the last owners didn't ever rake or take care
of anything at all. So, we had a ton of work to do.
