Thank you for visiting my website.  I hope that you find it useful and informative!  I am the South School Guidance/Adjustment Counselor and this is my 10th year working at the South School.  I have a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Clark University and my Masters Degree in Social Work from Rhode Island College.  I am also a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in the state of Massachusetts.

In my role as the Counselor at the South School, I provide services to children in a variety of settings. These settings include: individual counseling, small group counseling, friendship groups, groups about separation and divorce, and whole classroom lessons. I also work with teachers and the administration to help to provide a safe and comfortable school environment for all of our students to grow and develop.  I truly believe that helping our students to develop positive social and emotional skills is a vital part of our role as educators.  I strive to provide students with a safe and nurturing environment in which they can express their emotions and become more effective problem solvers.

When I am not at school, I am the mother of two very energetic boys!  My oldest son is7 years old and attends second grade while my younger son is 3 years old and is enjoying his second year of preschool.  Along with my husband, we enjoy traveling and exploring new places.
