Computer Lab: We will be using lab regularly on Mondays for Accelerated Reader, Type to Learn, math games, and research for reports. ELD: ELD rotation is done for the year GATE: Destination Imagination series is over. Math Olympiad is finished for the year. Thanks to Bill Lambert and Sara Woodhull for all of their hard work. Math: We are now studying Unit 20, Constructions. Music: Final music class is this Wednesday. Students will perform for 4th graders at 10:55. Instruments rented from School District will be kept after the concert. PE: Will be on Tuesdays and Fridays from 9:25 - 10:15. Please remember that students need to wear clothes and shoes appropriate for exercise. Reading: We are now reading Johnny Tremain. Students will be given new reading log on Mondays. Reading logs are due on the following Monday. Goal is at least 1/2 hour per day. Parents should sign reading log. Library will be on Wednesdays, 2:30 - 3:00. Third trimester 9 week AR goal ended May 27th. Social Studies: Unit 6 test, "Revolutionary War" will be Friday. Spelling: Students will be given 15 spelling words on Wednesdays. Students are to write definitions and copy each word a minimum of 5 times. On Mondays we will review definitions. On Tuesdays we will take the the spelling quiz. Writing: Students have report topics for their 3rd trimester research report. Topics are on American History. Reports were due on May 27. MVWSD web site: |
