Rescued from certain demise by the National Borzoi Rescue Foundation, these pictures chronicle her new Forever Home.  Thanks to the

Especially Lou and Joye for taking such fine care of Nadia.

Nadia joins Tailer, another Borzoi rescue nearly 10 years old.

The pictures below are from Nadia's first months in her new home.

Last edit October 26, 2008

Nadia picked a few pears, and brought this one in to nibble on and play with.

Dropped her favorite toy!

Riding with my best Bud -- he just doesn't know...

I do enjoy such a big yard!

And another puppy (Bernese Mountain Dog) comes to visit.

What a smile!

Sometimes, I bring Tailer's mature dog food in from the garage for a special snack.  Pay no attention to the large zip lock bag on the coffee table filled with Kleenex from a box that somehow just riped itself into tiny pieces on the floor. I had absolutely nothing to do with that.

Helping with the Kayak!

 Love that convertible!

Love the wind in my lips!

Smiles all around, and a lick.

Checking out the pond.

At ease...

Just lounging

At my post...

Playing with my small friend...

 Making friends with Tailer,

Well, trying anyway...

On a walk...

Resting now...

Convertible Ride!

(You can just see my ear, my buddy Tailer is next to me)

Use your imagination here.

This is a Borzoi running at full gate, through the sky.

Trying to figure out what's on her back!

Looking out the window again!

Oh, I was a bit naughty...

Tailer is teaching me the lost art of faucet drinking.

And what is wrong with resting here?

I do like the memory foam bed-- It is a cushy play area.

And just lounging.  I always find the cool places.  This one is a bit hard...

And there are chipmonks too!

Still trying to be friends with Tailer.

More convertible rides -

They are one of my favorite things to do!

I always wait by the car, I don't understand why we walk past the car and don't take a ride every time!

And walks to meet my neighbors...

And I can run with the big guys too!

New images at the top --

Some Fall shots.  Nadia is always fun on walks.  Here we are on a hike at Middle Creek.

She takes advantage of whatever toys are available to carry.  From corn stalks to the ears themselves.  All are fair game and fun to tote about.

This walk is on a road closed do to bridge construction.  One of her normal three walks a day....

Whenever Nadia goes outside, she stands by the convertible.  If she could ride everywhere, she would!
