  6. Complaints:  Only 10 Questions on test? What kind of course is that? College Level?

  7. This year - ONLY ONE test at Mid term


- Mr. M. thinks the BEST project you can do - should involve a learning communit, freesound, dvxuser, photoshop...

So...

Mr. M. looks foward to a MUCH improved better year...

Randy Wilkins is a Hollywood veteran who’s worked on such films as "TRON: Legacy", "The Social Network", "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo", "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" and "Catch Me if You Can". We sat down with Randy to find out more about what he does and how he incorporates SketchUp (and our recently released Advanced Camera Tools plugin) into his workflow.

TASK #3 - Create a Chair in 10 minutes

Just try it out.

It would take 100 hours to get really good at this (a fraction of time for full blown 3D)

- but remember, Sketchup is used BEFORE full blown 3D, it is a visualization tool.

Steps to follow:

Maybe Mr. M. will do quick demo...

  1. Think of a simple scene, ie car outside of house  (stay away from Hogwarts castle - can be slow for big scene)
  2. Add a character or two
  3. Add some scenes
  4. Make it pencil
  5. Try making a movie
