Reel Art Show 2012




VERY IMPORTANT - Proofread


Even if you have only 10 words on your Reel...
Get the Reel Proofread for sure.

It would be really embarrassing for typos to be your Reel...
for you and for the college

Final Specs


Hand in a .mov to Mr. McCormack on Tuesday Lab (April 10) if you are in that lab, or Wed Lecture (April 11)
if you are in Friday

. Reels should only be small files... 1 gig is way way to big
  Use H.264 compressor to get file size down.


Mr. M. will have USB drive.


Required:


MUST be 30 - 45  seconds long 


You MUST upload it to YouTube... and show Mr M it playing on YouTube...

YouTube is our destination.



MUST BE NAMED AS FOLLOWS>.. this will be on the 3 second intro in Machnarium font.

Joe_Student.mov   (whatever you want, use _ for space)

Deduct 1 mark if named wrong.



Must respect (c) of images and music  (NO music that YouTube will flag)

MUST have you name visible at beginning or end reel - or both, or one... Mr. M. will give you 4 seconds with your name in Macharium font to introduce your Reel.



UPDATE: 720p has a widescreen aspect ratio of 16:9, a vertical resolution of 720 pixels and a horizontal resolution of 1280 pixels, or 1280x720, 30 fps.

DEDUCT 10% if you sound peaks over -3dB !
Suggestions
Voice  level maybe -6dB to -4 dB
Music  -12dB
background music maybe -18 dB

must have audio or music

Show off a collection of work you are most proud of in the first year of Multimedia

must be "G" rated

Ask Mr. M. for clarifications if needed.
