Sample of What I Learned Doc..
Assignments for MM 126
- Google document called
MM 126 - What did I learn? - Joe Smith
(EXACTLY like that) - will be also graded at end of course as well as part of this assignment
- Type in what you learned in Week #1
- Must have, Hot Keys for Windows and Mac
- What is a widget?
- you MUST share this with mrmccormack@gmail.com - and Make him an Editor
NOTE:
While spelling and grammar is important, this Google Doc is for your own USE,
so
as long as you can understand it, that is fine with Mr. M. - no
deductions for grammar or spelling, or even if it is sloppy - again, it
is a document for you to help recall the basics in MM 126.
Mr.
M will grade this on your content, but also on the HISTORY of changes
of the document (have you been keeping this document up every week?)
For example, you might have something like this in your Google document.
Sample Contents as an example
Hot Keys I KNOW!
[Ctrl] - F Finds
any text on any document, on any web page, works in Mac and PC Windows
and all programs - if you forget click on Edit menu at top and the hot
keys will be there for you to see.
[Windows] E -
Opens up Windows Explorer
list others - especially if they are NEW to you.
F2 (Windows ONLY)
In Windows Explorer - renames a file quickly, in Finder on a Mac, just press ENTER to rename a file.
TIP: you can right click to achieve the same thing.
Terms I need to know
From the Lab notes, enter the terms here, and explain in your own words
example:
ZIP
file - a zip file works on Mac or PC and compresses a whole bunch of
files into a single file that has a .zip extension. It also HIGHLY
compresses the file. Great to email as a backup, or send to someone
else.
Unzip by right clicking it
To ZIP up a whole bunch of files:
On Mac, Make Archive, On PC ADD to zip
