 Algebra I will cover Chapters 1-12 in detail that includes Pre-Algebra, solving equations, percents, proportions, and other topics that will help build skills for Algebra II.

HOMEWORK
Class time is too limited to provide students the time necessary
to master this subject. Individual study is imperative. There will be
homework everyday. Homework, class work, and notes will be checked at
the beginning of each class. NO LATE WORK WILL BE ACCEPTED, except in
the case of excused absences. GRADES PROCEDURES
Your grade
shall be determined by the average of your class participation,
classwork, homework, quizzes, tests, and your exam scores using the following percentage
ranges:
A-90-100%
B-80-89%
C-70-79%
D-60-69%
F-below 60%
Important: Mandatory tutoring will be required for all students with D's and F's in this class. The scholarship grade you receive in this class will be based on the following:
