MY EXPECTATION AND PROCEDURES
I encourage students to ask questions.  Come to class ready to listen, take notes, and participate.  Disruptive behavior in the classroom will not be tolerated.  This includes inappropriate talking, eating or drinking, tardiness, leaving early, or any other actions that is not conducive to proper learning environment.  Repeating such behavior mauy result in referral to the Dean's office.

I expect everyone to follow Palomar's policy on academic integrity.  Cheating of any kind will result in a ZERO (0) for the exam and/or homework.  A student who aids another student in cheating is subject to the same consequences as the student helped.  Students caught cheating may also be reported to the Palomar College Administration.  Also, please consult the Palomar College Catalog regarding proper student behavior and conduct.

Please make sure your cell phone, iPods, iPhones, games, etc. are turned off or on vibrate so it will not cause any distractions to others.

TUTORIAL
The Mathematics Learning Center is a great resource if you need the extra help on homework or studying.  It is free and is located in room E-2 on the main campus.  Monday-Thursday from 9AM to 8PM and Friday from 9AM to 3PM.  If you decide to seek the extra help, you will be enrolled in a zero unit no cost class.  You can also email me at lly@palomar.edu with any questions and/or concerns.

ATTENDANCE
Attendance will be taken daily.  You will be dropped on your fourth absense.  Please try not to be late to class.  It is disruptive and disrespectful.  Attendance problems or tardy problems will affect your participation points.
