Augusto 2005!
Off to Beautiful Barcelona!
We arrive to the Catalunya Capital!
The nationalist strides on city, region and state fly high!

Cataluyna was a sovereign nation for over 300 years The Arc de Triumph.

One could not go to Barcelona and NOT visit Sagrada Familia! This small image does not do the church justice, but is just a piece of the amazing architecture.

We spent A LOT more time on the beach than we had intended, but it was worth it!! Nude beaches, Mediterrean sun and fun, why not!?!

Park Guell, designed by Gaudi, over looks Barcelona

It
is of course mandatory, I think it is on page 3 of the Travelling
Etiquette Book, to write many post cards while enjoying a local
refreshment to rub it in to all your friends that you are somewhere,
and they are not!!

Park Guell We walked through amazing park, found a place for a picnic, and then made our way back ot the beach!!
At the recommendation of our FatTires Bike Tour Guide, Mike, we head to Sagardia the first night and were HOOKED!! It is an amazing tappas bar that had us going back every night we were there!!
