I am with the NEMESYS
research group devising and implementing methods for region-of-interest (RoI)
streaming of live HD video. I was involved in the research, design and
implementation of techniques for RoI identification, cropping, scaling,
storage and retrieval. Currently I am working on a system and methods to support virtual zoom and pan in
live video feeds from a network of cameras. Earlier I worked as a Senior Research Engineer at the Motorola Labs in India (Applied Research). My work focused on in-router video aware bandwidth management algorithms, differentiated routing in multi-channel MESH networks, video retrieval and caching based on physical surroundings. Prior to working at Motorola, I was a Senior Software Engineer with the ProCurve networking division at Hewlett-Packard India. |
