| The Marquette Frassati Society was founded in 2009 by the four Catholic churches in the Marquette, Michigan area. This group reaches out to young adults and families to offer both spiritual enrichment and charitable opportunities to its members along with time for fellowship. It is is dedicated to the memory of Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati, who lived from 1901 until 1925. He is remembered for his charitable acts to the poor in Turin, Italy and his enthusiasm for the great outdoors.

We start cooking at 5 p.m. and serve at 6 p.m. The kids will also be working on Christmas cards for the Norlite residents. After the meal we

Pier Giorgio Frassati: An Ordinary Christian.
- Service project - We will plan on preparing a meal for the Room at the Inn at St. Louis the King in Harvey on Thursday, December 3. Please meet in their parish kitchen at 5 p.m. and dinner will be served at 6 p.m. Our menu will consist of soup,
bread, salad and brownies. We will once again have an area set up for kids to
create Christmas cards.
- Christmas decorating on Friday, December 18th: Diane Nelson, this year's Cathedral Christmas Decorator,
is in need of 6-8 volunteers to help her retrieve items from the Cathedral
attic and possibly begin decoration preparations. I believe it would be
an hour or two of work. Please contact Dustin Katona at dustinjkatona@catholic.org
