The tech club will use a wiki to store student work, share ideas, and to let other people see your work. We'll talk about how to use a wiki during the club, but here are some basic tips:
1. Students will have a login and password. This is your private information so keep it safe.
2. You are encouraged to leave comments or to make suggestions if someone needs help. Please make sure your comments are kind, appropriate, and helpful.
3. The teachers who work with the Tech Club have administrative rights. That means we will receive an email everytime the wiki is changed (and we'll know who makes the changes).
4. Inappropriate use of the wiki (or any other technology tool) will result in loss of privileges.
5. The wiki works like a word document. You can insert hyperlinks (links to websites), images, documents, and gadgets like calendars and surveys. We'll learn how to use these features, but you'll have to practice them.
