special group of people at Memorial Park Church. Their main purpose is
to be like Jesus and lead you to do the same.

Deacon Ministries
Deacons
serve numerous roles within Memorial Park Church as part of their
ministry. Listed below is a sample of ongoing responsibilities. Just
because the deacons serve in these areas, though, doesn't mean we don't

Organize and deliver a flower
weekly to a shut-in, or person in the hospital -
Organize and deliver Christmas
Poinsettias to shut-ins -
Organize and deliver and Easter
Lilies to shut-ins -
Organize and deliver Thanksgiving
Fruit Baskets to shut-ins -

Acknowledge births and deaths
within the congregation by sending flowers or donations -
Preparing the sanctuary every
week by organizing Bibles and Hymnals, and restocking pew supplies and
literature racks -

Prepare all coffee and
refreshments for all services -
Organize the annual Church picnic -
Organize and administer the
Church Directory every three years. -

Provide care, meals,
transportation and financial support to members of the congregation who
have need

for the new member receptions
