Moving On is a volunteer organization that provides a safe environment for singles and singles again, to meet new people for friendship and support. We offer a forum for the discussion of topics of interest of mature single persons who are ready to move on to new beginnings, and to setting new goals. Moving On is not a support group for people going through initial trauma of separation, divorce or widowhood. While members are free to date, it is not a dating service. These functions are left to other groups. There are discussions at 7:00pm on the 2nd Monday of each month. There are no discussions in July and August. There is the ice cream social on July 12 (see below) and a picnic in August. But look for members every Monday and Wednesday night 7 pm to 9 pm and enjoy a variety of music till August 24 in Johnson Park, located in the heart of Liverpool, NY.  Moving On The Town (MOTT) are Dutch treat dinners at various area restaurants on the fourth Monday of the month. The restaurant menu can usually be found on their website. Click here for more information and to reserve a seat. Meet at 6:15 pm to read the menu and order promptly at 6:30 pm.

Thanks to Diane for contacting our members about the Ice Cream Social. We had a great turn out, lively conversation and fun dancing to the music. If you would like to schedule an event just let me know and it can be posted look for some suggestions listed below. Our group can be an important part of your already busy life style. Put our activities on your calendar or check out our website to see what is new…. The weather is great and it can be fun to go out and socialize! Come and join us! In case you didn’t know most of our activities are Dutch Treat. Remember endorphins do not contain any calories, and smiles are priceless.

Trip to 1000 Islands on a Monday or Tuesday. We could carpool to Clayton, NY and take the tour from there. It’s very scenic, pack a picnic and enjoy a great destination without the weekend crowds. Dutch Treat. Or…Kingston, Ontario, CA You need a passport for this one! It can be a great trip and everyone wants to know what is on the other side of I-81. Or…. Meet at the NY State Fair. Browse your favorite attractions and meet to watch the concert and have dinner. When was the last time you saw a cow in a barn? Let Tisa know via email.
