All are welcome - singles & couples. Come and get caught up in our excitement. Brought to you by CNY Singles, call 458-7555 for more information. This is not just a singles dance. Many Couples come to dance only together or you can dance with others. It is your choice.
Beginner dance lessons from 7:15 to 8:00 before the dance. Open dancing from 8:00pm to 12:00am. You don't need a partner for the lesson, as partners are rotated. This is a good way to meet dance partners. But couples do not need to rotate and are free to stay with their partner. The suggested gratuity to Karen and Howard Willis, our dance instructors, is $2.00
Except for special dances (or otherwise noted) the cost is a donation of $8.00 pp. There are door prizes and a 50/50 raffle. Reduced admission prices are offered to CNY Singles members who volunteer at the door.
These are the dances that used to be at the Knights of Columbus, on East Taft Road, North Syracuse every Friday Night until the building was sold and the dances had to move in the spring of 2009. They wound up at the United Inn on Buckley Road, until September 2011 when they moved to the VFW at the corner of Lamoyne and Factory Avenues in Mattydale. Only the February 11, 2012 dance was at the Pastime Athletic club.
