Please mail this application with a deposit of $175.00 payable to the ASA, to the address on the form. - Entries postmarked on or before Mar. 7, 2012, will be accepted immediately
- Entries postmarked after the above date will be accepted up to the camp limit
- Entries postmarked after the camp limit is reached will be placed on a waiting list, and accepted in postmark order as space becomes available
The fee for the fly-in will include catered meals, typically every other night. The number of meals and final dollar amount will be determined once bids are received from the caterers. Up to 40 entries will be accepted with up to 10 requiring tows.
From Steve Dee, Ringmaster (aka "camp coordinator"): - Opening briefing: Monday, July 2, at 10 am in the hangar.
- Meals: Catered meals (included in the entry fee) will be announced later, but typically include five meals catered at the hangar. As in years past, Jeff the Smoker guy will be asked to provide "off-night" meals to people that want them - you pay him directly.
- Towplanes: A towplane will be available to tow every day.
- Programs: The selection is in progress.
- Ramp space: We request that as in years past, those who wish to rig and derig each night take spots on the South and West portion of the ramp, and those 15 meter ships take the next line, as 5 ships should be able to tie down in that row. Proceeding North, the 18 meter ships and larger owners can position yourselves so that there are 4 ships per row.
Please insure that all trailers are secured off the ramp due to ramp congestion.
More information will be posted here as we go along, including notes on flying, landing out, airport operations, and so on. Check here or in the News section of the main menu. See you all there-(click on the pictures to enlarge) On the way east to Moab, UT. It's stark in that direction, but if you go North or South along the ridges from Parowan, it's lovely mountains, fields and airports. Your choice!Lynn Owens says the crews have fun, too.
