Missionaries in Chad, Africa

For us practically, that has meant a lot of time invested in building relationships with local churches and believers, learning new languages (French and Arabic are the national languages of Chad) and networking with Chadians to run YWAM training schools.

Moses led our first Discipleship Training School (DTS) and School of Biblical Studies Core Course, and has trained a team of Chadians who are now leading the DTS. One of Moses’s gifts is teaching, and he spends a lot of time teaching in our schools, as well as ministering in the local churches.  Moses is also directing the YWAM work nationally and invests lots of time and energy mentoring our staff. Along with our student outreach teams and staff, we have had the opportunity to partner with local churches in their evangelistic endeavors and have had the privilege of helping plant several churches.  Jo spends most of her time taking care of the children… she is also involved in teaching some, and in administration and the base office.
