All about me

Hello!
My name is Brooke Morris and I am in my seventh year of teaching.  I decided to become a teacher when I was two years old (or so my mother tells me)!  I have always had a love for working with children and could not feel luckier in my career choice.  It is a joy to come to work each day to share with students my love for learning and to gain new insights from each of them.  Before teaching first grade, I taught kindergarten for three years.  I have a BA in Child Development and minor in Psychology from Western Washington University and a Masters In Technology and Curriculum Instruction.  I live in Edmonds with my husband, son and my three dogs.  My son's name is Hudson.  He is one year old!  My dogs names are Abby, Misha and Chance. Abby is a twelve year old Yorkshire Terrier.  When she was younger, she was a show dog.  Now she likes to spend her days napping around the house. Misha is a Shih Tzu with a lot of personality.  The newest member of our family is Chance.  We got Chance as a playmate for Misha from a rescue organization called FurBaby.  He was very scared and nervous when we first got him, but now he is learning to trust and love people.
Now that you know a little about me, I can't wait to learn about you!
We will have a great year together.
See you in soon!
