 Kindergarten is full of excitement. Students have learned the routines and procedures of schools and are settling into some real academic learning. We have started reading groups to meet the specific needs of your child. He or She may stay with Mrs. Hutchison, go to Mrs. Lytle or Mrs. Petersen. You may also hear your child talk about Ms. Shelton our ERS teacher or Mrs. Davis or Mr. Julius, two instructional assisstants that work with our students. At Crownhill, we really believe that it takes a team to educate your child. We work closely together and communicate about the progress of every child on a regular basis.
Conferences are coming up at the end of the month. Mrs. Hutchison and I are looking forward to meeting with you and communicating about your child's progress. We are also looking forward to talking with you and getting your input on your child's education. We are working in partnership for your child, and as your child's first teacher, you know him or her best. We will also be setting goals for your child.
