My teaching career began 12 years ago in New York City.  I taught second and third grade for seven years in an inner city school.  I never could have imagined my career choice to be such a rewarding one, surprisingly it has been.  My joy comes from creating life long learners who are not afraid to take chances. 

I did not think that I could find a place as rewarding as my school in New York City, but I have here at Lilburn Elementary.  I joined a family of exceptional people five years ago.  They share my love for watching children learn.  I have been part of the third grade team for the past five years where we all strive to have all students meet their fullest potential.
