Monte D' Oro

Neighborhood Association

Monte D' Oro is a subdivision established in 1964, within the city of Hoover, AL.  There are 160 homes in the subdivision.

The Monte D’ Oro Neighborhood Association is a voluntary group of neighbors whose purpose is to make Monte D’ Oro a great place to live. The association maintains our entrances, promotes a safe attractive neighborhood and addresses common issues affecting our community. We also maintain a close working relationship with the city of Hoover and its leaders. Additionally, we have informative meetings and programs offered monthly from September through May on each second Thursday. Membership is open to any resident of Monte D’ Oro.

The purpose of this website is to keep Monte D’ Oro residents informed of neighborhood activities. It was also developed out of a desire to foster a strong, effective Neighborhood Watch program.

Monte D’ Oro is just off I-65 and Montgomery Highway. Shopping, parks, schools, libraries, entertainment and the arts, and fine restaurants are a short walk or drive away.
