The 6th Annual World Language Speech Festival will be held on Saturday, March 6, 2010 from 9:00am-12:30pm. at Moanalua High School.
A Certificate of Participation and rating sheets from the judges will be given for each participant. All participating teachers should be getting more information through lotus notes or you can check here for any updates. Please encourage your students to participate in this wonderful opportunity!
WLLC Fall Seminar SeriesThe World Language Learning Center will be planning some seminars to introduce students to various cultural activities. If you are willing to volunteer your talents, please contact me at Moanalua High School or at this website. More information will be available in the near future.
WLLC Spring After-School Enrichment Series
The World Language Learning Center will be planning the upcoming Spring After-school Enrichment Series.
All offerings will be non-credit enrichment classes. A certificate of completion will be awarded to all individuals who fulfill the attendance and course requirements. Each class will consist of 20 meeting days starting in January 2010, meeting on Tuesday and Thursday of every week. Classes will break for 3rd quarter finals prep and spring recess and resume in April.
All courses will focus on the basic foundation of the language or dance with instruction continuing based on the interest and needs of the students.
Supervision will not be provided before and after each class and transportation to and from Moanalua High School is the sole responsibility of the parent and student. Parents are encouraged to pick up their children right after the class ends.
Application forms will be available in G-203, Mrs. Wong's class at Moanalua High School at a later date. All classes are open to all DOE students. There are no pre-requisites and all students are encouraged to attend.
