As researchers, we know how frustrating it can be to find credible information sources on the internet. These are some of the better ones.
The Congressional Medal Of Honor Society has updated their webpage and has much to offer. There is now a searchable database of all recipients and many photographs.
In 2005, the Pritzker Military Library in Chicago began a series of interviews with Medal of Honor Recipients. Previous interviews are available on their webpage in .mp3 format at the following link:

If you are researching the Civil War, you may find this site of interest. It contains ditial copies of Harpers Weekly and various other sources of information to include maps.
Civil War researchers may find this site of interest as well. It is the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War. They have an extensive database of Civil War graves and information on the individual is often included.
