Kirill is a 4th year Law and Politics student from Germany. He has been involved in the MUN Society at Essex since his first year, beginning in his first year as Secretary followed by Social Secretary and Vice President. He is active within the Societies Guild as well, being elected Secretary this year and was Politics and Activities Convenor last year. He attended WorldMUN '09 and was a part of both MUNEX '08 and '09.
  Vice President: Maximilien von Berg
Maximilien is a 2nd year International Relations and Politics student. He is not only the Vice President for MUN but is also part of the committee of the Amnesty International Society, the "Student Rep" for second year Government students, an Essex Jet accommodation rep and an occasional contributor to the Rabbit. His main interests lie in the field of history, politics and economics. He is nevertheless a dedicated sportsman. He is currently training with the Swimming, Athletics and Triathlon clubs on campus and a local cycling club outside campus.
  Secretary: Alice Lixi
Alice is a 2nd year Law and Human Rights student from Italy. This year she is not only the Secretary for MUN but is also the Treasurer for the Human Rights Society and the Treasurer of the Societies Guild. Last year she attended LIMUN '09, WorldMUN '09, GlobalMUN '09, and organized accommodation for MUNEX '09 in addition to participating as a delegate, where she won a "Best Delegate" award.
  Treasurer: Catherine Moore
Catherine is a 2nd year student studying English and French Law. She is from the United States and holds a Bachelors of Arts degree in Romance Languages from the University of Georgia. She enjoys the debating aspect of Model UN the most and loves traveling and learning about new cultures. She was the Secretary for the society last year, head delegate at LIMUN '09, attended WorldMUN '09, and co-chaired MUNEX '09. In addition to her role as Treasurer and Finance Officer for MUNEX 2010, she was elected the Politics and Activities Convenor for the Societies Guild, Treasurer of the Law Society, and a Law Clinic Advisor for 2009-2010. In her spare time she enjoys historical fiction, auto racing, doing various accents, and movie nights.
  Social Secretary: Harriet Shaw
Harriet is a 2nd year English and French law student. She has both French and British nationalities and lives in France. She enjoys playing sports, music, traveling, and discovering different cultures which is a great advantage of MUN conferences. She attended WorldMUN '09 in the Hague and GlobalMUN '09 in Geneva and loved the debating and negotiating aspects of it and hopes you will enjoy MUN conferences as much as she does!!
  Paula is a postgraduate student studying International Relations. She was born in Romania but lives in the United States. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Business, Economics and French. This year she is the Publicity Officer for MUN. She is looking forward to being part of the Model UN Society, attending conferences, learning and meeting new people.  UNYSA UK- Regional Representative: Yanisa Paopiamsap Yanisa is a 2nd year Politics and International Relations student. She is originally from Bangkok, Thailand but has been raised in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Shanghai, China. She has been to 8 MUN conferences. She works for THIMUN Youth Network, initiated the United Nations Youth Delegation Program in Thailand and became one of the first Youth Delegates of Thailand to the United Nations. She attended the 62nd session of the UN General Assembly representing her home country, Thailand, in the UN Headquarter in New York.  
UNYSA Campaigns Officer: Shiva Ameli Shiva is a 2nd year LLB law student. She is the United Nations Youth and Student Association Campaigns Officer. Politics and International Relations are two of her favorite passions but she also enjoys playing hockey, horseback riding and playing tennis. She hopes to get involved in the national UNYSA campaigns by attending many different events and spreading the word on our campus.   |
