| We are a group of enthusiasts who fly fixed wing IC, and electric, powered aircraft, float planes, also Gliders and helicopters on a SAA approved site who welcomes new members and visitors to come along to our meetings or the flying site.
We hold training evenings on Wednesdays during the summer months with two Instructors attending to achieve bronze certificate standard. Further tests for Silver and Gold can be held on request
As we are in the zone of Glasgow Prestwick Air port we are obliged to inform Air Traffic Control on 01292 511114 when any member is going to fly a Model above 7kg and also cancel same when finished Flying

| We are bound by Council rules to ensure that no Internal Combustion Engine is used on this site unless tested to read 82 db, or less, at 7Metres range.
To fly solo on our site you are required to be a member and have passed the minimum of a bronze certificate. or the equivalent B.M.F.A. certificate

| Field Etiquette
First entering the site opens the gate ,at the cattle grid, this is secured in the open position. The next gate, into the car park, is closed on entry. Exiting the car park, towards pits, the wicket gate is closed proceeding to the pits switch off the electric fence, dismantle the fence as required. Enjoy your flying.(Remember to collect the correct frequency peg) If you are last to leave the site please ensure the electric fence is replaced and switched on (Terrible damage, by the cattle, can be done to the flying strip making it inoperable for all club members) Close all gates on exiting including the one at the cattle grid.
Please note LEDs have put on the electric fence switch. when flashing the fence is OFF
Would all members who enjoy a can of coke or a bottle of refreshing juice Take your empties home. If you don't, who do you expect to tidy up. Keep the site free from litter.
Flying times 10.00-21.00hrs Summer Time (clock change)
10.00-17.00hrs Winter.
Electric flight not included in these time restrictions
