Do I have to pay a pledge?
No. Payment is at the beginning of the rental period.

Do I have to show my ID card?
Yes, and we ask to sign a contract, you find it here.

Can I make a tour round Gent?
Yes, the region is blessed with some incredible cycle routes. Gent is difficult to ride, but outside Gent it's easy. We have a GPS available, please ask when you reserve the Waw.

What if someone hits me?
Fill in the European collision form, if needed ask the Police to make a statement. It becomes now a discussion between the insurance company of the other one and us.

What if I damage something?
Damage to others is covered by your own family insurance.
Damage to the Waw is often not covered by this insurance, You are responsible for this Waw.

If you feel uncomfortable we can take over the risk on these conditions:

• 100 € insurance per week per vehicle
• 200 € franchise (first 200 € is customer's risk)
• Insurance is void if rental contract conditions are violated, especially the good behaviour part.
  

Do I need special shoes?
It's not needed, but it's definitely more comfortable if you wear SPD shoes. You can bring your own pedals too.
