Dimensions We had different people in the Waw who measured 1m55 till 1m94 (he had rather small shoes). The Waw can be tiny, if he fits; wear him. Length: 2,8m Without nose and tail: 2,1m Without front boom: 1,8m Wiheelbase 1,3m Broadest points (wheels) 0,78m track about 0,75m Breadth at the tights about 38,5cm Breadth at the shoulders 48cm Floor above the ground 9cm Highest point (without wheels) 0,9m Luggage room The capacity depends of the position of the seat and the dimensions of the rider. After the seat is room for two cycling bags. On top of that, there is room for a small rucksack. At the sides of the seat, there is room for somewhat smalle stuff. Under the seat; room for batterys, waterbottles. As an option, there is a trunk in the nose. Used materials: The complete self-supporting structure is a mix of Carbon, Aramid some Glass fibre and Epoxy. The mechanical parts are mainly Aluminium and Stainless Steel. Suspension The Waw has 3 wheels - In front two 20" wheels on the suspension struts from Velomobiel.nl. - The rear is 26", direct attached to the body. There is enough room for a 28" race wheel. Lightning We love the lights mounted on the little tubes on the body; the position is high enough for efficient road lightning, the lights shine on the own body (safety) and they can be reached when seated. Any bicycle light can be mounted. And of course there can be build in a complete energy system with direction indicators, GPS charger, music installation and other nice things.
