Thin Client Project - One Page Fits All

One Page Fits All (Creating a page once and displaying it on PC/PDA/Cell Phone)

This project is an extension of a project I started last year.  I was trying to come up with a single html and css file that would work on all types of devices that could display html.  The project now includes some tools to review the output for clarity (testing), a documents html and xhtml template.  I will include the source code, links to emulators to test it, a video lesson explaining it and a list of key terms and vocabulary.  The template document will be a syllabus. All accessible from this project page.

Cell Phone Display Emulator

Description of Design Environment
I found that for most of my work it was easier to work in native html which meant TextPad was my editor of choice.  I used the Tidy HMTL add-on to help my format the html. CSS editing was done using TopStyle Lite. I used some DreamWeaver but limited. Firefox 3.0 is my primary browser but testing was also done on IE and Opera.  I used the MS Device Emulator and Manager and the Opera Mini products for cell phone emulation. Documentation was kept using Google Docs, Google Notebook and Google Site.
