MBYC RJYC Clash # 2 May 26 2012Results after Day 1 - Day 2 tomorrowOverall - RJYC ahead!Look here, this is the first time in 20 years (Peter's guess) 15 years (my guess) that 10 TEN boats are in the start line in Montego Bay. Kudos to the three Kingston teams who have trailored and laboured to get on the water this morning Forecast from the east / north east at 10 to 12 turned out to be 16 to 18 out of the north early in the morning before the breeze moved right. First race from the outer green to Walter Fletcher, second and third race from the red up to Walter Fletcher. Perfect sausages and finishes inside by the club. THANK YOU DIVA and Phil Slow, start committee Lyn Langford, Evelyn Harrington, Robin Delisser and nuff other people. See you tomorrow!

When the cat's away, the mice will play! This was a one day series and the last practice before our big Easter Regatta. We are promoised lots of Kingston Cuisers to play with so please make an effort for the Great Yacht Race which leaves Mosquito Cove on April 5 this year.
Back to the J22 action - MASSIVE breeze on the short course meant no room for mistake and Zipper was flying testing their new jib out ready for Cayman next weekend. Jacquie and I went windsurfing from Sandals afterwards and have not been sailing in so much wind in the last 10 years. Our smallest sail was too large for Jacquie who can sailing in any conditions.
Good luck to Team Jamaica in Cayman next weekend!
Next race series is EASTER .

Day 1 three races non spinnaker. Day 2 short exciting start line with a friendly Lagoons 47 from Texas who parked right in the middle of the tradidional start. The line was horribly skewed and with the shortness meant that cheeky port starts at the boat end could result in big gains. Or losses. Wind was 3 to 16 knots. Start to outer green to red bouy and finish. Congrats to Ayahso for some good results!
