Our Mission:Minnesota Premier (formerly Anoka Juniors) is a United States of America Volleyball (U.S.A.V.) program for young females. Our mission is to foster the development, education, and participation of female athletes, ages 17 and under, in the sport of volleyball. Minnesota Premier will provide a supportive environment for coaches to teach players volleyball skills, and to instill the concept of team play under competitive conditions.
Season Length:Our season begins in December, and ends in March for the 12's team. The 13's-17's play through April. Practices:Practices will be held 2 times per week, and last 1.5 hours per practice. We have gyms available to us Monday through Friday, with the exception of holidays. Our practices are largely held at the Andover Community Center.
Player Fees: A non-refundable try-out fee of $20.00 is due at the time of try-outs. The fee for the program is $500.00 for 12 year olds, and $850.00 for any player over 12. For 12's players the full $500 fee is due at the time of registration. For the 13-17's players $425.00 is due at the time of registration and , the balance of $425.00 is required by a post dated check for Feb. 1, 2010. We offer fundraising opportunities to offset the player fees.
