Time: 10-30 minutes

Age: toddlers - elementary

 

Supplies:

popsicle sticks

ribbon (plain wrapping ribbon works best)

die cut paper leaves or real leaves

tape

markers, crayons, etc. (optional)

 

Optional - decorate the leaves. Cut pieces of ribbon no more than 2 feet. Tape the leaves to the ribbon. Tie or tape the ribbon to a popsicle stick. Run down the sidewalk (no running in the library!) with your leaves streaming behind you!

 

You can tape multiple leaves to a single ribbon, one leaf per ribbon, etc.
