Prep: Cut egg cups out. You can also cut the felt into strips, depending on your audience.
Craft: Tape an eggcup to a toilet paper roll (glue does NOT work unless you have an EXTREMELY patient child). Glue eyes to egg cup. Draw mouth. Either decorate the body with markers and crayons, or glue on felt or glue on fiberfill for fur. Glue on pipe cleaner or ribbon for tail. Pompoms make good ears. Yes, it looks rather like a caterpillar, especially if you have green felt. No, it has no legs. I've been unable to figure out how to attach any. Stick your fingers in the back and it's a finger puppet! |
