Financial Review

The Medford Leas Residents Association is a member of ORANJ, the Organization of Residents Associations of New Jersey. In 2007 ORANJ published a guidebook for residents who are serving on their finance committee. Its purpose is to provide residents with a basic understanding of their CCRC's financial position and performance as reflected in its financial statements and other key documents. The ORANJ 2007 Finance Guidebook Table of Contents is on the ORANJ website, and from there the entire document may be downloaded in .pdf format.

The purpose of the Financial Review Committee (FRC) is to know and understand the finances and the financial and operating decisions of the Estaugh Board which affect residents, and to respond from the perspective of residents of Medford Leas. The committee meets at least quarterly with the Medford Leas Finance Officer, and at least once each year with the Estaugh Finance Committee. The committee holds information sessions at open meetings of the MLRA, when deemed necessary, and reports on financial matters of concern to residents.

The description of the FRC which is on the MLRA website has an extensive excerpt from the 2006-2007 annual report of the committee.
