更新学生家庭信息的重要性

各《马立平中文》教学班家长们,

我校所有《马立平中文》
教研室所有班级的老师都在使用网络之便利,增强教学效果,畅通家校信息沟通,提高学生管理效率。 学生在校记录中的家庭联络信息的准确性直接关系到学生在校期间能否及时地与老师和学校沟通。 每个学年,学生家庭都要加入本班老师的班级网络。在接到新学期的注册表之前, 老师一般以上个学年学生注册表里登记的邮箱为准,将班里家庭的一个或多个邮箱纳入班级网络,免去家庭每年重新申请入网的繁琐。虽然学校的课程注册已开辟网上报名,但是很多家长在注册后才得知需要Google账户。家长们用开的账户在网上加入班级网站, 得到老师批准后进入班级网络。 但是,这些新的邮箱往往没能反映到学生的注册表上,因此,下个学年新老师得到的仍然是家长在注册表上填写的旧邮箱,延误了新老师与家庭的联络,同时家长又要重复加入班级网络的手续。

为学校最大程度和最大效率地保持家庭与老师的有效沟通,
我们要求所有家长将家庭信息的任何变化, 包括更正更新, 主动而及时地反馈给学校。反馈方式就是到《《马立平中文》教学信息中心(http://sites.google.com/site/mlpchineseinfo/)首页右侧的“注册信息”栏里填写学生信息更新表, 告诉学校和老师使用哪个新邮箱,除去哪个旧邮箱,更正或补充哪些学生信息(如姓名,生日,地址,电话等),一有变化即填张表。 填这个表的好处是,一处更正后,全校各个环节都得到最新信息,而无需家长分别通知注册处,老师本人,家长委员会等, 也可以避免学校各方掌握和使用的信息不一致的状况。请家长把上述《《马立平中文》教学信息中心的网址用"书签"存入电脑,方便今后随时上网填写更新表。学校网站也有链接到达信息中心.

家长在填写学生信息更新表的时候一定要注意,
凡是需要更换邮箱的,除了提供新邮箱地址外,也要标明需要删除的邮箱地址。 原因在于,老师手里的家长邮箱中,很多邮箱名中看不出是哪位学生的家长,如果家长不提供旧邮箱地址,我们就不能及时删除家长不需要的邮箱,造成家长的旧邮箱继续接收学校的邮件。  如果家长在原来邮箱的基础上增加新邮箱,请注明哪个具体邮箱作为平日接收邮件的地址。 虽然家长可以把变更信息直接告诉老师,但仍然需要填写更新表,否则学生注册表上的记录没有得到更新,变更了信息不能保留到新学年,家长就不得不重复更新程序。 家长若通知老师有关信息更新或申请加入班级网络,老师也会提醒家长填写更新表。

Dear parents of all MLP classes,

Currently all of the MLP classes are using internet for strengthening teaching, channeling school-parent communication, and improving student management efficiency.  The accuracy of family information on student records directly affects whether teachers and families can stay in touch during the student's study at the school.  Every school year, all families must join your child's class online.  Before receiving your class registration, the new teacher must use the student records from the previous semester to invite families (i.e. one or more email addresses) into the class so as to make it easier for the families. 

Although there is an online registration, many families only learn about the online class group after registration and use their new Google account to apply for class membership.  Unfortunately, the new Google account information for many of the families is not reflected on the permanent student record.  This would cause a delay for the new teacher from getting in touch with the parents, and in some cases, causing serious frustration for the parents because they must go through the same process to join the class.

To maximize the efficient communication between the teachers and their classes, we request all parents to please notify us timely any change in the family contact information.  The way to notify us is by visiting the Resource Center of MLP Program
(http://sites.google.com/site/mlpchineseinfo/) and filling out the Student Information Correction Form located in the sidebar under Notices.  The form would tell us whether you want to add a new email address, remove the old one, or add or correct any other student information (e.g. change in name, birth date, home address, phone numbers, etc).  Fill out a form as soon as there is any change.  The advantage of this form is that, once you made the changes at this central location, the record office and the teachers are notified instantly and the system is updated as well.  Parents should bookmark the website listed above so as to use the form at your convenience.  The ACS website also has a link to the Resource Center.

When filling out the form, please make sure to let us know your old email address when you want to remove it from the system.  This is because often the use user name in an email address does not tell use the name of the student thus we would be unable to remove your old email as requested and your old email address would continue to receive emails from the school.  When you have multiple emails on the system, please specify which email address is preferred for receiving regular email messages.  Even if parents notify the teachers about changing email address, parents still need to fill out the form so as to ensure a system-wide update.  The teachers will remind parents to fill out the form when they see request from parents to join the class.

报学前班的新生或插班生必须在本学年9月1日满五岁,报一年级的新生或插班生必须满六岁并能听说普通话。报二年级以上的新生或插班生,  正式入班前到指定班级旁听,课后必须经过教研室的测试方可到指定年级注册,到指定班级就读。春季入学的所有年级的新生必须接受测试。(New or transfer students for Grade 2 or above must be tested)
