tid·bit   (tĭd'bĭt')  n.   A choice morsel, as of gossip or food:

  1. When I was younger I would write essays to my parents to argue whatever point we would be in disagreement about.  (curfew, moving bedrooms, etc)
  2. In high school, at a party, I remember trying to get a friend to drink (Amber) and I have always felt horrible about it.
  3. I eat one thing on my plate at a time, usually clockwise starting at the bottom.
  4. I line up my skittles by color whenever I eat skittles - which is rare - and eat them left to right.
  5. I dont mind spending the weekend evenings at home.
  6. I sometimes feel inadequate to be one of Christ's own, thinking I will never grow spiritually enough to really love Him.  Then I think about all that He has brought me out of and done for me. 
  7. I don't ever second guess or doubt my salvation through Christ.
  8. I tell restaurants I am allergic to nuts so they will make sure not to put them on my order - I really just don't like the texture.
  9. I am not a hypochondriac, but I secretly fear something could be wrong with me.  Depends what it is on what day you ask... some days nothing.
  10. I have always looked up to my brother. 
  11. I love chocolate.  Once, my brother told me a spoon of dirt was chocolate (I saw him take it from the ground).  I ate it.
  12. Even though I live alone, I sometimes feel I have to "sneak" foods.  Once when I was little, I was eating the Nestle from the can and heard Mom come home so I hid under the island in the kitchen - you could totally see me.
  13. In high school, I ate a 3 Muskateers, Sour Cream and Onion chips, mustard,  and a Dr Pepper every day at lunch.  I miss the days of an awesome metabolism.
  14. Yes, you read that correctly - I like to dip my Sour Cream & Onion chips in mustard.
  15. I want to run a full marathon to say I did it.  But I dont really want to run 26.2 miles.
  16. I dont like to lay out and tan.
  17. I love looking at the Sunday ads.
  18. I enjoy reading other people's secrets on PostSecret.com and wonder what sort of secret I could send in.
  19. I love Tom Thumb cupcakes.  White cake only please.
  20. Also, Nothing Bundt Cakes are yummy. 
  21. I cry at most of movies.
  22. I would love to live in the Caribbean so I could scuba dive every weekend.
  23. I wish I were more confident to share the Gospel to others - instead I only half-way rely on relationship evangelism.
  24. I dont like telling people what I do at work because I can see their face glaze over with boredom because they dont understand.  I have tried to come up with a simplified version for them.
  25. When I was little, one of my favorite movies from the library was Darby O'Gill and the Little People  and even though I had seen it a ton of times, I still thought the banshee's were scary.
  26. I have a strange affinity for spreadsheets.
  27. I love order, but don't always keep it.
  28. I ususally complete projects faster than expected.
  29. I sometimes fear that I won't find someone to forgive and love all my flaws.
  30. I have lots of desire and little discipline. 
  31. I am forgetful.
  32. I admire Jeff Moss.
  33. I wonder what dogs dream about when they are sleeping and you can see thier paws twitching.
  34. I don't sing in the shower.
  35. I put my makeup on in the car (when I do wear makeup).
  36. I like to drive fast.
  37. I watch my statcounter.com page to see who's been reading my blog.
  38. I set my alarm for a whole hour before I really have to get up - hitting snooze for an hour.
  39. I prefer to eat my pancakes with peanut butter.
  40. I would wear flip flops every day if I could.
  41. I have a mental battle going on about whether or not I should train for full marathon.
  42. I am usually a perfectionist, but I dont always abide by the laws of perfectionism.
  43. I often struggle with the same sins over and over.
  44. I have to follow the same routine in the shower or I feel awkward - wash hair, condition hair, wash face, wash body, shave, rinse conditioner.
  45. I enjoy getting praise for a job well done, but not in front of a lot of people.
  46. I don't usually enjoy being in the spotlight.
  47. Upon first meeting people, I am more reserved. 
  48. I wish I had an accountability partner.
  49. I wish I could be more open and honest about my walk with Christ.
  50. As of August 2008,  my top 3 spiritual gifts (really 4, there is a tie for 3rd place) are 1. Faith, 2. Administration, 3. Helps/Works and Exhortation.  I date this as of August 2008 because I beleive that while there are some spiritual gifts that you have forever, but I also beleive that some come and go as needed.
  51. When I was little, I always imagined that someone was under my bed and was going to stick needles full of drugs in me while I was asleep - and then I guess kidnap me, I am not sure what happens after the needles.  And, I am not sure where this vision came from.  Weird, I know.
