Welcome to Mid Life Crisis (the band)Mid Life Crisis is a popular name for bands made up of graying rockers. All the others are imposters. Our home is “Metro West”, more specifically Wayland, Massachusetts - a sleepy, hardly “metro” town outside Boston. Out here one needs to create excitement. It doesn't just happen. Our goal when we started this band was to shake things up and give all these suburban dwellers an excuse to get out and have a good time. Like most bands, we go where the money is, but since that never works, we go where the party is. Truthfully, we really just love to gig. We play a lot of parties, occasional 40 and 50 year old birthday parties (we even play 30 year old birthday parties!) and we also donate our services to many fundraisers and benefits. The tunes we do span generations. You'll hear some Oldies, Classic Rock, Motown, R&B, New Wave, and even some songs from the 21st century! And maybe an original thrown in now and then. We'll keep you dancing, don't worry. Currently, our average age is 51, If you add up all our ages, divide by 5, then add all our weights, subtract the number of songs we know, and then divide by the number of beers we go through at rehearsal, know what you'll get? Neither do we. But we're working on it. ____________________________________________________________ Want to sign us up for a gig? Send us a note: | Next Gig: |
