The 1st team made the longest trip of the season to Norwich on Sunday. With several players being made to work on a Sunday for once, and others injured or unavailable, it gave others the chance to step up to the plate, and we are also very grateful to Matt, Emma, Tom and George (not usually Bucks players!) for coming and playing for us to enable us to field a team, and also to Norwich Knights for allowing us to move our match against them from the Saturday to the Sunday.
Against the odds, we did manage to win one of the matches with a great 13-10 win against Cambridge Phoenix, and also competed well against Norwich Ice and Norwich Knights, although ultimately going down 12-5 in both games.

We were back in action the following night, with a friendly against MK Colossus, where two players (Lucy and Anna) made their debuts (with Lucy scoring a penalty), along with Lucy on her second match and Stef on her third! Although we ultimately lost 8-2, much of the match was very close, with the score 3-2 at half-time and three of the opposition goals coming in the last 5 minutes.
