MK Bucks 1 finished third yet again at Korfstock! This time it was Leeds who blocked our way to the final, after a narrow 3-2 semi-final defeat. Earlier in the day, we had recorded big wins over Supernova, Bec 2 and Bristol and a quarter-final win over Reading. However, in the 3rd/4th playoff we finally got to beat John and Ali's Men in Black after a 3-3 draw. The last minute Men in Black penalty equaliser didn't put us off as then we won the sudden-death penalty shootout on the first penalty with Nov sinking the winning shot.

 

Bucks 2 were in the toughest morning pool but after losing the first two games, managed a great nail-biting 3-2 win over one of the Edinburgh City teams to avoid dropping into the bottom 4 competition, and ended up finishing 22nd.

 

There was then much partying and drinking games at the evening party!!
