Home Sweet Bungalow
Home is Where Your Story Begins
Outside
We have done quite a bit of work outside: painted the foundation and columns, put up new railing, put down a new porch floor, painted the front door, put up shutters, and redid all the landscaping.

Living Room/Dinning Room Before
Not the best picture, but you get the idea- almost all white walls and scuffed hardwoods.
Scott primed the mauve wall before he started the red.
Living Room Now
Colors: Gumball Red and Covered Wagon- Valspar. Curtains from Pier 1, rug from Lowes.
Dinning Room Now
Color: ??. Curtains from Pier 1, Rug and Chandelier from Lowes, Dinning Table, Wine Tower and Buffet from Target, Book Cases from Office Max.
Kitchen Before
This is pretty much the extent of the kitchen when we moved in: yellow walls, a white a green linoleum floor, and not too many cabinets- but it had potential!
Kitchen Now
Color: Lilac Fields- Valspar
We repainted, added cabinetry by the stove, added tall pantry cabinets on the long wall, got all new appliances, replaced the floor and light fixture. We plan to upgade the floors to tile soon and the kitchen should then be complete.
Pantry Before and After
This room needed a little help, so I repainted the cabinetry and paneling to match the kitchen. We also replaced the flooring and light fixture.
Bathroom
This was the first room we totally remodeled... We replaced the sink, faucet, flooring, lighting, trim, and refinished the doors. Sadly, I couldn't get them back to their original wood tone, so they got a fresh coat of white paint.
Master Bedroom
Color: Bamboo- Valspar. Curtains from Target.
Guest Bedroom/Office
Color: ? Rug from Lowes, Computer Armoire from Staples, Futon from ShopKo.
Sadly, we do not have a ton of space in our cozy home, so this room doubles as both the guest room and office. It works out well since our only guests are my sister and niece and my computer desk closes up.
Back Entryway/Craft Room
Color: ?, We made the desk from craft cubes from Michaels, shelving from Lowes, cubes from Target.
Another dual purpose space... this used to be a screened-in porch that we closed in and made into an entry since our garage is in the back of the house.
Back Entryway/Craft Room
We recently renovated the garage- we had to replace a rotting beam, put up drywall and primed and painted it, put in trim, painted and sealed the floor, and organized everything.
