After starting MiValue, you should see the following welcome screen.
Select the "Setup" button, this will show you the Setup panel.

On this Panel enter your income information. You can enter this either
as "Annual Salary" or as an "Hourly Rate", use the one that is
appropriate for how you are paid. Hit the "return" key on the keyboard
to enter the value. If you do not want your income to show, you can
select the "Hide" button - this will simply mask the values.
On
this same panel, also enter the number of hours you work each week. If
you don't work a fixed number every week, then put in your average.
MiValue needs this to make it's calculations.
If you want
MiValue to remember your information between uses, then set "Remember
my info" to ON. If you are concerned about someone getting hold of
your device and finding out your income then we recommend either
turning this OFF or setting a "Passcode Lock" on your device via the
main Settings application.
Once you have setup this pane, click on done.

You can now enter the price of anything into the Price field and
hit return.
MiValue will immediately update and tell you how long you
need to work inorder to buy it. | |
