So we've been in Hong Kong for a couple days now. It's Monday mornng and we had breakfast at 7:30 am because we slept 12 hours last night. Still dealing with jet lag I guess since we came back to the room to rest around 4 pm and work up at mdnight! So we slept for the rest of the night and woke up this morning. We had dim sum already and it was really good. But I must say that the dim sum at home like at Fook Yuen is just as good so no new delights here in Hong Kong despite being in dim sum's birthplace. Food has definitely been good so far.

My big shopping was on the first day we were here. We found an Esprit outlet and spent a couple hours there. I bought a few good items for a great deal. Today we are going to go see the Giant Buddha, a big old gold statue of the buddha. Pictures to post for later!

Birthday at Four Seasons Tuesday, March 18, 2008 7:55 pm

Surai was so awesome as to organize a birthday dinner for me at the Four seasons restaurant! She also treated me to a manicure earlier and we window shopped a little while waiting for dinner. It was so nice to see everyone and the first time where we've gone out to a birthday dinner that was this expensive. I guess this is to herald in my 30th birthday. I really like this picture of us. Thanks again everyone!You all made it special.

I've been working on a planning page so that I can show my florist the ideas I have in my head. It was hard to decide on all the details but here is most of it.

We pretty much finalized the menu. We picked and chose and swapped out certain dishes until we got this modified version which hopefully our guests will enjoy! Once we go to our tasting I'll write the reviews for these dishes.

Bought my Dress! Wednesday, February 20, 2008 9:26 pm

So last Saturday Aileen joined me for my last dress shopping day. We went to Bridal Galleria. Turns out there was one that i liked, simple and within my price range. But I still wasn't yet sold. After that was Amy Kuschel again. It is such a nice space for a bridal dress shop. Hardwood floors and airy. We got there a half hour early and I looked through the sample rack. There were a couple dresses that I wanted to try on and unfortunately they were discontinued, meaning it was a style from 2 years ago and they were now retiring it and selling the samples. The newer designs had to be rolled out I guess and prices have gone up dramatically. I bought the second one I tried it even though the first would have been just as nice. I love it that its the Italian silk, the "glowing fabric" one. I can't wait until they alter it to fit me. For now I'll have to hold the back when I want to try it on, and I've done that twice already since I bought it. The below picture is what the dress looks like.

And I have my shoes already. A pair of light colored gold shoes that I bought awhile ago and I only wore it once. I've always felt it was comfortable and I think they complement the dress. So shoes are done and now just Jewelry!

Got my new page up on Google now. I like it even better because it is so easy to use and they allow you to edit in html if you want to. Spent an hour trying to get some sort of comment functionality because thats a must have for me and now it works! All message are sent to my email account first and then I have to go in and post it myself but thats ok. I'll still be playing with the look of this site so it'll continue to change a bit.
