Welcome all players, coaches and families to Mite Mania 2010. We are pleased that you have registered to play in this event, hosted by the Elmira Jackals Youth Hockey Organization.
Our games will begin on Friday, February 5th and end on Sunday, February 7th. All games will be played at the Elmira First Arena, 155 North Main Street, Elmira, NY 14905. This rink is home to the ECHL’s Elmira Jackals.
There will be raffles and other activities with a festive atmosphere. All game results and standings will be updated after each game and posted in a convenient area of the lobby for all to read.
Rules are attached and the game schedule will follow as we get closer to the event.
We provide assistance in lodging arrangements with our friends at the Elmira Holiday Inn Riverview. The Youth Hockey room rate for this season is $85.00 plus tax per night. There is an indoor pool and a bar/restaurant. Holiday Inn is located within five minutes of the rink. Holiday Inn may also provide small banquet rooms for team parties, depending on availability. Holiday Inn fits the needs of our hockey guests. NOTE: Reservations must be made prior to January 19th in order to be guaranteed lodging; rooms have been blocked off for our tournament. Please contact the Holiday Inn at 607-734-4211 to make reservations or inquire with any lodging questions.
The goal of our tournaments is to provide a fun, family tournament experience. I would like to thank you in advance for taking the time to participate in this tournament; we look forward to some great hockey.
