Welcome to Mite Mania 2012

 
 
Thank you for participating in our third annual Mite Mania!!!

 

Hopefully this brief housekeeping list will make for a smooth, fun & exciting experience.

 

  • Game schedule is posted on the EYH Bulletin Board
  • Game results and points will be updated after each game
  • Locker room assignments will be posted on the chalk board as you enter the Rec. Rink
  • T-shirts are $15 and will be sold throughout the weekend with sales closing on Sunday @ 10:00
  • The basket raffle will close on Saturday after the last game and winners will be drawn that evening and posted on the EYH bulletin Board
  • 50/50 tickets will be sold and winners drawn between the 2nd and 3rd periods.
  • Medals will be given out to all Mite A participants.
  • Trophies for the championship team and 2nd place team will be given out at the end of the championship game.
  • The concession stand will be open for the duration of the tournament. You may want to bring your first cup of coffee for early morning games as they normally do not open until 8:00
  • For the Elmira Jackal’s game we will be introducing each participating team and ask that the players from each team skate on the ice when their respective team is announced (skates, jerseys and helmets required). We will not introduce each player individually as time constraints will not allow for it.
  • Only 1 parent will be allowed in the dressing room area to get the players ready prior to the Jackal’s game. This is to lessen the confusion and help with “crowd control” in the tight quarters of the locker rooms and entry hallway.
  • Anyone that enters the Event Arena is required to have a ticket. No one will be allowed in to watch the introductions unless they have purchased a ticket. This is due to insurance purposes only and has been mandated by the Arena owners. Everyone entering the Event Arena must enter through either the Gray Street or Main Street entrances. No on will be allowed to enter through the Rec. Rink entrance.
  • If you have any questions during the tournament, I, along with several members of the volunteer committee will be available at the arena.
