In January 2009, the Elmira Jackals Youth Hockey organization will host Mite Mania 2009, a B & C level mite tournament at First Arena. Enthusiastic kids will take to the ice under the leadership of volunteer coaches for what is described as “the greatest sport on earth”. Many of course would beg to differ, but for those participants a season of hockey proves to be a rewarding experience. All tournament planning and organization is done by volunteer parents with support and advice from the Elmira Youth Hockey Board of Directors. In addition to Elmira's 3 to 4 local Mite teams, we will play host to three additional teams (with multiple levels) traveling from around New York State for the weekend-long event.

The tournament cost per team is $650 which is due along with the tournament application. Deadline is Novemeber 30th.
