All are welcome to the John Paul II School Annual Winter Carnival this Sunday January 31st, 2012 at John Paul II School! The kitchen begins serving at 11:00am; and will be serving our famous pork sandwiches, walking tacos, nachos, pizza, pretzels, pie, cheesecake, and drinks! Of course you can sit an play BINGO while you eat! Thanks to Catholic United Financial for providing a matching grant for BINGO again this year- they will match up to $500 raised. The carnival games begin at noon and last until 3pm. Admission is free but a wristband to play the games is $5 per person with a $20 family max. Don't miss the inflatable obstacle course, cake walk, clown, photo booth, Country Store, dime toss, duck pond and so MANY more!!!! The John Paul II Children's Choir will be singing Saturday night at 5:30 mass at Holy Spirit and at the 10:00am Mass on Sunday at Holy Family to thank our parishioners for their support. Monday-Friday there are a number of exciting activities to celebrate the special opportunity we have for Catholic Education in Mitchell, SD! The theme this year is Faith, Academics, Service.  |
