We quote from the families E-Mail ""Kindly accept this humble donation of $3000 to your organisation to offset some of $5600.00 that the charity lost due to the abominable behaviour of the supporters of one of the contestants in this year's Miss World NZ competition. We as an Indian family were disgusted when we watched on Campbell Live, 26.5.09, the abhorrent behaviour of fellow Indians in the competition resorting to, what seemed like, bribery tactics to win the contest for their favourite candidate. What was more disgusting was their preposterous behaviour of withdrawing their promised donation to a children's charity just because their own hidden agenda of making their candidate the winner, by hook or by crook, was not successful! This type of behaviour from a minority group tends to give the majority of generally big-hearted, generous and proud Indians and India a bad name. Steps should be taken to punish / boycott such candidates and organisations to prevent such nefarious activities in the future".  Thank you so much & God Bless you & your family for your generosity.
