NASA -Ames Exploration Encounter!
We had a fabulous field trip today! We went to the NASA-Ames Exploration Encounter in Mountain View. We participated in several activities. Be sure to ask your child about his/her favorite one. I loved the Air Traffic Simulation (www.nasa.gov/sector33) and the Momentum Machine. The students also participated as Space Station crew members, each with an assignment or experiment to perform. They were supported by the Mission Control team who were monitoring their flight. We felt like we were light years away!

Benchmark Test for Math

A good way to prepare for this test would be to use the Math Homework Workbook. There are both Reteach and Practice pages for each lesson. Our students have done a great job learning all of this math knowledge and this test is just one measure to see how well they are retaining these concepts.
