Technology

Technology is a reality: a reality that is either for you against you. It takes a little effort to get it working for you but it's well worth it. Considering the nature of spiritual battle, you don't want technology working against you. For Campus Crusade staff and interns here is where to find the most pertinent information:

GCX Account

Most of the technological help you'll need is found on the Campus Wiki and website but to access both of these you need a GCX account. Go to www.mygcx.org and click on the link entitled Sign Up for a new account.  Follow the instructions to obtain a GCX password. You will not be able to do steps 3-5 until you have finished the first two.

Campus Crusade Wiki

Campus technology information is found on the Campus Wiki (as in wikipedia). Once there, you'll want to go to CM Information technology. There's a lot of helpful tech information there.

Campus Crusade Operations

Each region of the country has its own Operations specialist who should be able to help you out. If you don't know your regional Operations Director a list can be found here. There is also a National Operations support team that can provide assistance to you.

Success Criteria

One way that technology is rather useful in the ministry is tracking results. How can we know if what we are doing is succeeding if we don't measure results? How can we know where to direct resources if we don't know where we have ministries? For such reasons the Campus Ministry has constructed a tracking system. Missional Team leaders need to know how this InfoBase works and how to enter the results of their ministry.

Go to staff.uscm.org and click on Tools on the taskbar at the top. Under Ministry and Team Tracking, click on the icon next to The Campus Infobase. Choose the State and the campus on which you are working and follow the instructions to add information for your movement.

Questions and Help for navigating the InfoBase can be found here.

Websites and Everything Else

As a staff or intern, a helpful overview of the Campus Website and other important technology issues can be found here.
